Manager, Government Operations

JOB OVERVIEW:

This position is responsible for the overall management and oversight of Government Operations. This individual will control all pricing mechanisms and will support margin enhancement, escalation clause requirements, sales plans creation, and pricing policy. They will also be responsible for all customer reporting requirements for Federal, State and local, and Corrections. This position will maintain and expand Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and other documentation to support the contracting process. The Government Operations Manager will be responsible for providing support during audits, contract negotiations, modifications, and the renewals. They will also be responsible for supporting the execution of Government bids. As an operational leader, this manager will conduct internal training on Henry Schein's Government contract portfolios and institutional bids process as needed.

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:

Typically 10 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in terms of any applicable professional experience; 1 or more years of management experience.

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline. Master's degree or global equivalent a plus.

TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.

The posted range for this position is $97,909 - $134,626 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including education, prior experience, training, current skills, certifications, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.

This position is eligible for a bonus not reflected in the posted range.
