Job Description Summary
Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Project manager is responsible for driving the execution and tracking of strategic AI initiatives. You will be responsible for executing the programs, and tracking, monitoring execution, risks & opportunities to ensure program on-time delivery for Grid Systems Integration (GSI).
This role leads AI-enabled initiatives that optimize core engineering and delivery processes to improve productivity, reduce delivery lead time, and enhance quality. You will translate business needs into executable AI projects, guide them from proof of concept to minimum viable product and through adoption, and ensure solutions are operationally ready, secure, and resilient
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Responsible for defining, deploying and managing project management related processes and support tools.
- Support the definition of AI / ML strategic roadmaps for Grid Systems Integration. Lead AI projects from PoC through MVP; plan releases, pilots, and scale-up roadmaps
- Define and implement processes for coordination between organizations.
- Translate GSI priorities (productivity, lead-time, CoPQ) into an AI/ML opportunity portfolio across HVDC, FACTS, and ACS.
- Own stage-gates and governance; run reviews, secure approvals, ensure auditability
- Developing specialized knowledge in their discipline. Serves as best practice/quality resource. Has awareness of latest technical developments in own area. Contributes towards strategy and policy development, and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
- Share lessons learned and best practices to enable reuse and scaling. Owns tools and continuous improvement for the Innovation and AI / ML
- Coordinate software/digital, data engineering, cybersecurity/privacy, SMEs, and third-party vendors
- Ensure data readiness (access, quality, pipelines, compliance), manage dependencies, and remove blockers.
- Track performance and benefits realization; report status, risks, and progress; implement corrective actions.
Required Qualifications
- For roles outside of the USA- This role requires significant experience in the Project Management & Processes and Tools, including software development project management, risk management, strategy. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
- For roles in USA - Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).
- Excellent stakeholder management across engineering, software, quality and leadership to influence a highly matrixed organization with varying levels of experience, competence.

- Experience in power systems or complex EPC project environments (HVDC, FACTS, grid automation/ACS, substations).
- Ability to motivate geographically and cross business and diverse teams.
- Working knowledge of AI/ML delivery (cloud platforms, data engineering, model monitoring)
- Awareness of data privacy, export control, cybersecurity considerations.
- Experience in Agile project management, Lean, Scrum, Innovation methodologies
