The Role
We are seeking a motivated SAP Basis Administrator with exposure to the RISE with SAP (MSM) environment to provide Level 1 (L1) support within the EIP delivery model.
The role focuses on 24x7 operations support, including monitoring SAP landscapes, handling alerts and incidents, ensuring system availability, and performing basic troubleshooting. The candidate will work closely with L2/L3 teams, SAP, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely resolution and adherence to SAP RISE operational processes.
This is SAP Basis L1 support role responsible for executing defined operational tasks, managing tickets, and supporting stable system operations in a high-volume global delivery environment.
Monitoring & Alert Management-Monitor SAP systems using tools (e.g., FRUN, Solution Manager, monitoring dashboards).Perform alert validation, initial analysis, and categorization. Acknowledge and act on alerts within defined SLAs. Escalate critical alerts to L2/L3 teams as per SAP RISE process

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Basic knowledge of SAP Basis administration (S/4HANA, ECC, NetWeaver)
- Understanding of SAP system architecture (Application / Database / OS layers)
- Exposure to SAP RISE with SAP (MSM) delivery model
- Experience or familiarity with:
- System monitoring and alert handling
- Incident and ticket management (EIP / ITIL processes)
- Basic knowledge of:
- Operating Systems (Linux / Windows)
- SAP HANA database concepts (awareness level)
- Ability to perform routine operational tasks such as system checks, job monitoring, and basic troubleshooting
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
- Exposure to SAP RISE tools (e.g., FRUN / Solution Manager - awareness level)
- Basic understanding of cloud environments (AWS / Azure / GCP) in SAP RISE context
- Awareness of:
- Automation concepts (basic scripting / runbook execution)
- Backup, restore, and disaster recovery concepts
- Understanding of security and compliance practices in SAP environments
- Familiarity with SAP transport management and user administration (basic level)
