Job Description Summary
Creates customer and business value by designing clear, usable product experiences grounded in user needs, data, and business context. This UX Interaction Designer collaborates with Product Management, and Engineering to clarify problems, explore solutions, and deliver experiences for complex enterprise products. Uses modern UX practices, including AI-assisted research, design exploration, prototyping, and insight synthesis, to improve productivity and decision-making. Contributes to alignment among user needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility while continuing to grow independence in navigating ambiguity.

Design Strategy & Problem Framing

• Contribute to defining customer and business problems using research, analytics, and stakeholder input.

• Participate in discovery activities to identify user needs, workflow challenges, and opportunity areas.

• Translate research findings and product requirements into clear design opportunities.

• Work with senior designers, engineers and product management to connect design decisions to intended user and business outcomes.

• Design cohesive solutions for defined features, workflows, or product areas.

• Create annotated wireframes, prototypes, and interaction specs that clearly communicate software behavior.

• Apply established design-system components, patterns, and accessibility standards.

• Contribute improvements to shared components and interaction patterns in partnership with senior designers and design-system owners.

• Participate in user research and synthesize findings into actionable design recommendations.

• Consider how feature-level decisions affect adjacent workflows and product experiences.

• Partner with product management and engineering to translate user and business needs into design requirements and deliverables.

• Explain how design decisions support intended user and business outcomes.

• Consider desirability, feasibility, and viability when evaluating solutions.

• Incorporate feedback, research, and validation findings into design iterations.

• Own assigned design work from exploration through delivery, with guidance appropriate to the complexity of the work.

• Collaborate with product management, and engineering throughout the product-development process.

• Communicate user needs and provide evidence-based design recommendations.

• Participate in discussions about priorities, trade-offs, and solution direction.

• Present design work clearly, explain rationale, and incorporate feedback from users and stakeholders.

• Raise risks, inconsistencies, and unresolved questions early to support shared decision-making.

• Bachelor's degree in design
• Experience in UX, product design, interaction design, or a related field.

• Portfolio demonstrating interaction design, problem-solving, and the ability to communicate design rationale.

• Proficiency in Figma and experience creating wireframes and interactive prototypes.

• Experience collaborating with product management and engineering to deliver digital product experiences.

• Ability to connect user needs, product requirements, and business context.

• Experience using qualitative or quantitative evidence to inform design decisions.

• Ability to clarify moderately ambiguous problems with support from partners or senior designers.

• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver well-defined features or workflows.

• Experience applying design systems, accessibility guidance, and validation practices.

• Proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, shared libraries, and prototyping.

• Familiarity with Figma Make or similar AI-assisted prototyping tools is a plus.

• Clear communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to explain design decisions and recommendations.

• Ability to independently manage assigned design work, identify dependencies, and raise risks.

• Receptiveness to feedback and commitment to improving craft and product judgment.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work across disciplines and organizational levels.

• Ability to adapt to evolving requirements, balance multiple inputs, and seek guidance when needed.

• Curiosity about complex domains and motivation to build expertise over time.
